Dear friends,
We beg your acceptance of the Brief Report of the
Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narainpur depicting a short statement of our humble
efforts towards the amelioration of the miserable state into which a good many
of our fellow brothren are living in this 'Abujhmarh'.
To sum up, the Narainpur Branch of Ramakrishna Mission is
working primarily for the uplift of the indigenous hill Marias, a part of our
rich heritage of Primitive Tribal Population, by spreading of modern education,
services related to health care and economic development to slowly integrate
them to the main stream of the nation without spoiling their simplicity and
basic ethos. The task is enormous but modest progress has been made with help
from Government and benevolent organisations and individuals. But the effort is
inadequate, particularly due to poor connectivity of the places as well as the
phenomenon of price escalation with time.
To overcome this problem of paucity of funds we now
earnestly appeal to all our friends, devotees, well wishers, public and
philanthropic institutions, private and corporate business houses to participate
in this noble venture and donate liberally for the sustenance of our efforts.
How you can help us: You can help us by donating
regularly or by making lump sum contribution for sustaining our activities in
the identified areas of education, health care and rural development as given in
this report. You may also donate to help us in building of corpus fund/endowment
fund/permanent fund. Your help will enormously support us to sustain this “Virat
Seva Yajna” in a smooth and efficient manner.
It may also kindly be noted that all donations to
Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narainpur are exempted from Income-Tax under
section 80G of the Income-tax Act 1961 and 100% exemption from Income Tax
under section 35AC of the IT Act, 1961 for business and corporate houses only.
Cheques & Demand Drafts may be issued in favour of “Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama,
Narainpur”. We also accept foreign contributions.
May the blessings of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Ma Sarada Devi
and Swami Vivekananda be showered on all of us incessantly so that we may bring
peace and solace to our tribal brethren by our humble services.

"I consider that the great national sin is the neglect of masses, and that is one of the causes of our down-fall. No amount of politics would be of any avail, until the masses in India area once more well educated, well fed, and well cared for. They pay for our education, they build our temples, but in return, they get kicks. They are practically our slaves. If we want to regenerate India, we must work for them."
