A) VIVEKANANDA AROGYA DHAM: ( Our hospital) : This 30-bed well-equipped hospital having an Outdoor and an Inpatient Section including Labour Room, a Pathology Laboratory, Blood Bank, X-Ray Department with two machines(one is portable), an ECG, Sonography Unit, an O.T. and a Dental Section. The Physiotherapy department will start functioning soon in a newly constructed block. Most of the beneficiaries are tribals who are given all facilities including surgical operation, if necessary, free of charge. During the year, a total number of 44313(36614 tribals) & 1654(1514 tribals) patients were treated in O.P.D. & Indoor Section respectively. 278 minor, 12 major operations were conducted. 84 deliveries were also conducted. Drugs required for most of the common ailments are provided free to all O.P.D. patients through the dispensing section of the OPD. Ashrama also runs a Fair Price Medical Shop to provide drugs at a reasonable rate.

B) VIVEKANANDA MOBILE DISPENSARY : Our Mobile Medical Unit has been rendering its services at free of cost since 1986 to nearly 100 interior villages of the area. During the year 2008-09, 3403 patients were treated, 82% of which were tribals.
